Evening Update

Ha--- I sound like a news reporter with a title like that. Missy is looking really close, but, I don't think tonight will be "the" night. Darn, right? But, always remember I do not know these things for sure... Just because I make a "guess", doesn't mean Missy won't go tonight! I do think she is very close though. Everything looks great, except the coloring of her wax, which is really the only reason there isn't straw down yet. Once it is a cloudy white color, she should be extremely close. Both times Missy has foaled, she foaled around 12 am to 3 am... So I don't think (knock on wood) she will think about foaling during the day. Plus, she loves coming up at night, I think she would rather foal inside. It is going to be freezing here this weekend... So naturally, she will probably wait to foal when it is in the 30's. Brrr.
