Slow...
Well, Lady is still moving a little slow for my liking, lol. I am like, Hurry it up! Her due date is on the 24th, that just doesn't seem right to me, I will check again today. I could be wrong, who knows. I was checking my "notes" on when she had Heidi in 06, and she had a full bag, and her teats were full, but she had no wax, and at the time, it did look like she could of had a bigger bag... But, as many of you know, that morning, we went outside, and there was Heidi! LOL. Sneaky girl. I wish she would have had a foal last yr. We were going to bred her to Golden Gunslinger, but he passed away, so we went for his daddy, lol. They only do on site breeding, and she got sick up there, and they couldn't get her in foal... She has always been a one time breeder, she is the easiest mare to breed, so I have no idea what they were talking about... Oh well. I really hope she foals before the 31st. I have to leave for about 3 days, on the 31st... Come on Lady!
Miss Aurora is feeling soooo much better. She is back to her perky, friendly and happy self!It is freezing here, and wet! So they baby and Abby aren't to happy about not being able to stay outside for long periods of time. I can't wait for Aurora to have Lady's baby to play with! Foals are so cute. Ok, I am going to try to fix the lighting in the stall today. Yes, the lights have been going off at 11:00 pm, my time, so sorry. Just there hasn't been a big reason to leave them on at the moment. I want it to be lighting up the foaling stall, but not so the other stalls are lighting up to much at the same time. It can be difficult to get mares to come back into heat when your lights in the barn are messing their "clocks" up, lol. Taylor
