Ruth....(Sigh)

Well, after a few weeks of wondering if Ruth was really in foal or not finally got the best of us. Our vet came out, and she is not in foal. She lost the foal a while back, dang. After my boy Banner I was really looking forward to another Hes Tee Totally Cool foal out of her! Oh well. So, no babies from Ruth or Scottie next year. They are partners in crime, so they get a year off to relax and hang out together with all the other mares that are not having babies (Classi, Scout, and of course Scottie and Ruth.), oh, and we can't for get our only gelding, Chance, who will be watching over "his" herd of mares.... lol. Scout has gone through another growth spurt, and is huge. She is a good bit taller than Classi, who is 15.3. Remember, Scout won't be two until Feb, crazy. Taylor

The weather is great this week, in the 70's and 80's, it is amazing! All the boys are growing, and I am working with them daily. The have been weaned, if I forgot to post that a while back. I can't believe it is almost Foaling Season, the time sure flies by! All the mares are doing great, all fat and happy. Scout is growing so much, you guys wouldn't believe how tall she is. It is crazy, she looks like a warmblood! I am hoping to sell the babies to make more time for her. I do though work with her daily, she is very smart, and hilarious. Heidi is just gorgeous. Man, she is tall too, I just think we forget about that because of how tall Scout is! Heidi looks just like her momma, what a head and neck is on this filly! She has Ck's marking though. She is going to make such an awesome brood mare, and to top it off she is N/N, sigh, I love this filly. I need to get some more pictures of her, and Scout to update you all on there progress! I can't wait to see next years foals, Mr. Yella Fella, Kids Classic Style, wow, I am drooling already. Lets just hope we get some color out of these great studs, these all sorrel and chestnut babies every year are starting to annoy me, lol.! Missy, lets get a black and white baby this year!
