Hello Chaps

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is having a great end of spring/ beginning of summer! Ok, so, breeding update. We bred Fix and Scottie, but both ended up having infections, grrrr. But, today they ovulated and will be preg-checked in 2 weeks! So, be praying that they will stick, lol, because I am tired of breeding all these horses! Poor Scottie has a terrible abscess, again, right on the hair line of her hoof. It is so nasty. But, with her being in the stall at night gives me a chance to play with Leo, who, is turning out to be an awesome colt! His butt is HUGE. I need to get some new pics of him, but, with all of this warm weather, instead of shedding he is rubbing all his hair off! The silly kid looks so funny. All of my boys are just doing so well. We think the pecking order goes something like this, between the four foals: 1 Leo, 2 Fletcher, 3 Omaha, and lastly Banner! The two youngest ones run the little herd, poor big boys, how embarrassing. So, if all is well here are the horses we are expecting foals from and the stallions they are bred to:
1. Sis/Mr. Yella Fella (embryo into Abby) AQHA
2. Lady/Kids Classic Style AQHA
3. Missy/Image of Kid APHA
4. Ruth/Hes Tee Totally Cool AQHA/APHA
5. Fixation/I Got Charisma APHA
6. Scottie/Image of Kid AQHA
7. (possibly) another I Got Charisma Foal.... APHA

Omaha Pics

Well, I am here to tell you that "trying" to take pictures of just one horse in a pasture of eleven horses is a very frustrating task. Not to mention, all of the younger horses want to play with you while your trying to take decent pics! So, anyways. Here are some pictures (not the best, lol) of Omaha, I took yesterday evening. I thought it might be good idea to update them since he is for sell on "dream horse". I took off his muddy halter for this photo shoot (LOL), he is sooo good about putting on/off his halter. Long time no blog....

Hey all! How is it going? All is well here. It is hot and muggy right now, but other wise, the weather here has been great. All of the boys are growing up! Banner is in the middle of shedding, and big patches of his hair is gone. He looks so funny, but, he is sooo roany! He just keeps throwing us surprises, flaxen mane, roany coat, and not to mention he is down right handsome! I body-clipped Omaha, because he still had his Jan. coat! He looks great too, he is even a little roany, nothing like Banner or Fletcher though. Fletcher is growing like a weed, straight up in the air! Man, is he a mover. I thought Scout had it going on, but Fletcher is definitely going to give her a run for her money! Maybe I should just keep both, remember, I will never sell Scout. LOL. And the baby of the bunch, Leo, is doing awesome. His mom is having some hoof probs on her left foot, and all the rain isn't helping. So, he is enjoying staying in the stall, and having the fan on all day! Well, enjoy these May Flowers, and still some of those April Showers! Hope no one is experiencing all those Tornadoes! Taylor
