That's a pretty small horse you got there Sahim...

....Two bucks said says he looks a lot smaller in a second.
I am not sure if you all have caught on to this yet, but I LOVE movies, pretty much everything but a sappy "chick-flick", or any one for that matter. LOL. Well, it is so cold here. Omaha only got to go out for a little while today. Man, is he an awesome looking horse! His head is to die for!!!! He is really filling out too, big ole' but... If he would just stand still long enough, or even stand like a Quarter horse he would seem a lot taller and have some very nice hocks. LOL, he likes to stand Tennessee Walker style... Sometimes even trots like one. (maybe we accidentally bred to the wrong stud?) Just kidding. I am not worried about his hocks though, I really just love his personality. He is like, "I am soooo tough, and all that! Hey... Where did Mom go???" We bred Sis today, to Mr. Yella Fella. So hopefully "it" will stick in just one breeding. Yeah, I think Missy is the easiest of the horses to bred though, you just breed her and wait 11 months. Ruth is already building a bag, nothing that should worry us though. I bet she will go early though. Her bag could be building because she is an older mare too. Who knows right? Anyways, I better go. ~Taylor

Farewell Barbaro....

Hello All, I heard today that The Great Barbaro was put down. It was so sad, but I really think he was in so much misery. We had the best filly, Sheila, she was Skipper W on the bottom, and Touchdown Kid on the top. She was the perfect horse, we kept her in hopes of breeding her to Golden Gunslinger. But we found her in the pasture, missing her back leg from the hock down. It was horrible, and there was really nothing we could do, but put her down. It was in her best interest. At some point you have to decide are you trying to save them for your own sake, or theirs? It is an unfortunate part of life, being separated from the animals we love, they are family. But I know that I will see them again. :( But on a happier note, Omaha the pistol has become Omaha the sweet and loving pistol. LOL. He has seemed to have figured out that we could be his people friends, and his personal but scratchier....LOL. Yeah, that the ways to pick friends. I will have to take a pic of him running around the stall with my glove, he LOVES it. His teeth are slowly coming in, and anything he can chew on without getting in trouble is so fun to play with. So I give him my glove and he throws his head around and rears.....SOOO cute. I am so proud of the little guy, he is letting me walk up and pet him, finally! YEAH, K, I am sure you have heard enough?!? Thanks, Taylor
"You are a great champion. When you ran the ground shook. The sky opened and mere mortals parted. Parted the way to victory. Where you will meet me in the winner's circle. Where I will lay a blanket of flowers on your back." Farwell our great champ!

Brick by Brick my Citizens, Brick by Brick....

Well, Missy is in heat, and not happy about anything. Omaha seems to get a kick out of her running around and acting dumb, then when she is finally still, he tries to rear and jump on her neck..... Why is it that only colts do that? LOL. I played with Scout today, brushed her, and did some ground work with her. Plus I played with Classi too, she didn't seem to mind to much. She kinda was like, "Uhhh, I am retired, remember?". Yeah, Love that horse. Ruth seems to be starting to develop a bag, nothing that sends the red flag up or anything, just an observation though. We are going to Mississippi next week, hate leaving the animals, but I love visiting all of our family. We trail ride ever day, see tons of deer, the woods are so beautiful. I ride a gorgeous arab, she is half arabian half spotted saddle horse. She is a lot of fun to ride. Well, have a great night! Taylor

K, Whats Up Weather? (JAY, read the red, LOL)

HEY JAY, check the post below for my response to your post. Something is wrong with the blogger, it isn't showing that i posted back till you click on it. Stupid Thing. LOL. Well, we had a few BEAUTIFUL days here, but naturally, today it is freezing and windy,LOL. Poor Omaha, plus Missy is in heat now.... And was running around like an idiot, the little guy couldn't nurse or rest till I put them back up. He wasn't to happy with mom. Omaha is really filling out, we can kinda see his spot with out having to have him laying down, lol. Well we would have put a halter on this guy by now..... But his head is so tiny, we call it a "doll head" (which is a VERY good thing, lol.). I have tried everything to make it fit, everything. Omaha is going to be such an awesome horse, His back is so short, and his but is filling way out, his hocks look great.... when he actually stands under himself. He enjoys the stretched out approach. LOL. Anyways, sorry if you get annoyed with my day after day confirmation check on Omaha. Hehehe, All of the other mares look great, Ruth is bigger than a house, Fixation is pretty close to that too. And Scottie looks pretty big too, just not as huge as the other too. lol. Which is probably good, because she is really old, and has a pretty bad front foot. Poor thing. For all who want to know, Ruth is due March 9th, Fixation March 17th, and Scottie due March 19th..... The last two should be pretty interesting.... I am tired just thinking about it. Well, I will see you guys later. Taylor

Hey There, Update on 07 Breeding....

Ok, Sorry, I didn't post yesterday because I felt terrible all day. Something is going around my house.... Anyway, Omaha is thriving. He is still a little wary of people, but loves to play chase and hide and go seek. LOL. We have decided to bred Missy (this year) to Sierras Tribute, who funny enough, my dad considered buying quite a while back. He has no impressive breeding, and is gorgeous. I think we may be breeding him to Missy, Scottie, and Ruth.... Depending on what Scottie and Ruth's babies look like this year. I am usually not one who likes breeding three horses to the same stud, but I really like him. So, For now that the decision for those three, We are breeding Lady to Kids Classic Style, and Sis to Mr. Yella Fella. (Links for both stallions are below) We haven't really thought about Fixation, she just had an awesome cross last year with I Got Charisma.... So that is my vote so far. LOL. I think we are also going to be breeding Classi (Classi Robin), my retired World Champion jumper. She has had two foals in the past, both paints, but she didn't through height at all. So, I am thinking, bred her to a non-paint stallion, that is about her size or smaller. She is 15.3 by the way, some say she is short, but she is the best mover and jumper anyone has seen, and has outstrided 17 hand horses, yeah Go Classi! I found this awesome Andalusian, yeah you heard me, he is gorgeous! I would love to have a jumper/dressage horse. So, I do love Friesians though, but I think that would be a waist of Classi's time. I don't think I need a 15 hand Draft, lol.... but I would still love to bred one of my horses to a Friesian one day. Anyways, I will have to post a pic of Classi, the best horse in the world this week. I will catch all you guys later. Taylor

"Well, he's fast." "Yeah, in every direction..."

Hey guys. Our vet, Dr. Spencer, came out today. Was checking out Lady and Sis, and they are ready to bred. I think we are breeding Lady to Kids Classic Style (The KCS site has sound, don't be alarmed, LOL)and Sis to Mr. Yella Fella. So that should be some awesome crosses, I absolutely love "Bucky", KCS. Anywho, weather was ok today, still chilly, but the sun decided to show up. lol. Did you guys watch to football game last night, what a save but the colts. I am not a huge football fan, but I enjoy watching the Cowboys (our home team) and the Colts.... Most likely I like those two because they have to do will horses right? Anyway, I will have to name 3 colts (hopefully not in the same year, to many colts for me.) Eli, Patton, and Tiki. LOL. You have to be stud to have a name like Tiki, hehehe. Anyways, back to horse.... Missy did great outside today, no crazy running around. Omaha LOVES running and playing. I wish we had cameras outside in the foal paddock, you guys would have been laughing at the scardy cat! He acts so brave, but is such a wimp, knew I should have named him Wimpy. LOL. Although Dr. Spencer isn't on the APHA registering committee (lol), but he did say, "Hey, you have a paint"! So, I am 99.9, maybe less, percent sure we are going to get him registered, especially since his spot is so round, and it should continue to grow that way. OK, I think that is enough yacking for tonight. Hope you all had an ok Monday, but who every does??? Taylor**** P.S. The Title, what movie is that from??? The prize, a pat on the back and a thumbs up! (just not in person I guess....)****

The Great Adventure!

Hey guys. Omaha and Missy finally got to go outside and play in the sun! It was a beautiful sunny, kinda warm, day! They were so cute. He was really scared at first, the was just roaming off on his own, until mom chased him down! LOL. You can really see his partial blue eye in the sun, it is so cool. OK, I am about to do chores and watch a football game. So here are some photos of the big day outside. (maybe his legs will begin to get strong and straight with the exercise!) hehehe. P.S. I hope this doesn't sound forward or pushy, but Omaha will be for sale. Until I can get the sales page up, I just wanted to let you know, a lot of people have been asking on wefoal. So... If I could keep them all I would, We have only kept two of all our babies, and they always will be fillies. We don't have any interest, yet, in standing a stallion. Been there, done that. LOL. Enjoy the pictures. I posted this guys pedigree on the below post. It took Omaha like two minutes just to get out of the stall, silly boy! Taylor

Rain...... It will never end.

Poor Omaha and Missy, with all the nonstop freezing rain, who knows when they can go outside. He is driving Missy crazy, he is a pistol! Omaha is still a little wary of people, not sure if we are friends or foes. LOL, Think he is leaning towards friend though. Hey, if I can turn the crazy horse Scout around, he should be a snap. lol. Well, I can't keep a blanket on this guy, it is either him or Missy that keeps taking it of. They want to see how desperate I am to keep him warm, 2-0, Missy/Omaha take the lead, who will it be? Anyways, I pray the ran will stop soon, and that we can get some shaving too.... We buy them in bulk, no one seems to have any!!!! So are you growing tired of me gushing over the baby yet???? Taylor P.S. I would love to hear input on a registered name for this guy.... Although we won't be registering him till we HYPP test him, and make sure his spot is gets a tad bit bigger. lol. Here is his pedigree, notice that it is "Lucy's" or CK Chromeless, Missy's baby last year and Omaha's full sister. Click here, pedigree.

Cold & Rainy weather, makes me what a cat-nap!

Hey All.(this is Tank, the cat, by the way) Usually isn't aloud inside... But he is so cute. LOL. Omaha is doing great, starting to get a hang of those long legs! lol. Missy's bag was a little sore today, so this makes babies nursing a little hard. But she will get tougher. Thank you, to who ever called last night, Poor Omaha got stuck in his blanky... He was sleeping so hard, I think his leg went to curl up against his chest, and got stuck. He probably could have just pushed it out, but he is still so little.... So long story short, He isn't aloud to were it at night now, just during the day. Until he gets bigger! Hopefully he will get to go outside soon, It is sooo cold and wet, so I would rather wait. The last thing I need is a Omaha popsicle! He,He,He. So, I am going to go eat some dinner, and maybe you a will see me doing my nine o'clock rounds! LOL.

Pregnant Mares Update.... Plus more Omaha

It snowed today!!! So I had to get my baby boy a blanky... Missy took off the weaker and smaller one, so he is wearing the stronger warmer one. At first he put on a bucking show, then he decide he really like it and went to slept. LOL, Missy is not to sure though. Omaha is sooo cute, although, I have never met a foal I haven't liked. Ha,ha,ha. He LOVES to nurse, yummy to his tummy. Anyways, all of our pregnant mares are good. Fixation and Ruth are HUGE, their bellys already look like they can go.... Two more months girls. lol. Scottie is carrying high, but when you see her from behind... she is so fat. So, what are you guesses? Fillies or Colts for the three? Love to here what you think. Ok, here are some pics of the girls, so you can see their tummies! P.S. I took these when it was a little dark, sorry. Bye, Taylor. (Ruth: Top Left, Scottie:Top Right, Fixation:Bottom Left.)

Missy and her baby Omaha

Hey all! Missy is doing great!!!! We decided to call this boy Omaha, a famous race horse in Seabiscuts day. And yes, this baby boy has a spot! It will get bigger as he does. Oh he is so cute. So here are some pics of him and his momma. I will be back later. Thanks again for all of your calls!

Its a BOY!!!!

Thanks for all of your calls! Missy foaled out a GORGEOUS stud colt this morning. He would appear to be solid, but I think I may have seen a belly spot. (i do believe in spots, i do, i do!) But, I thank God for the healthy baby, and the safe delivery. Missy sure can pop those suckers out when the time comes. LOL. I am not sure what to call him yet, he is so vocal, and huge. I can't wait to get to know him! I am so thrilled, Missy just throws the most beautiful babies. Thanks for watching everyone! If you have name ideas shoot them to me!!!! Good Morning, sleep well with whatever is left of the early morn. Our next three are due in March, all in the same week. (grin) So, thanks again. Taylor

"Baby, its cold outside!" (Could it be tonight?)

Hey guys, I am just watching Missy. She was laying in a new spot earlier, plus has bitten at her sides alittle. So I am hoping and praying it will be tonight. She isn't standing in her normal spots too, and yes, I no that sounds strange. Taylor (and again, i am not saying she will 100% go, there is no such thing. lol)

Well, we had a few hours of sunshine today! But it was still freezing cold! Missy is great, tons and tons of wax, and is dripping milk on and off. (grin) So, today is her due date.... Maybe, just maybe we will have a baby tonight! I am so excited, I really want her to go. (but not till 9:00pm, I have my reasons..LOL) Anyways, we had a bit of excitement today, when Faith (our recip mare) jump a five foot plus fence... and totally screwed up the landing. She is okay, luckily, and I have know idea why she would do it. Go figure, right? Anyhow, please continue praying for safe healthy foals this year, and both mom and foal will be alright... plus that Missy and Fix with have colored foals this year, LOL. Unfortunately I have heard of a stillborn being born yesterday, it just breaks my heart, so my deepest regrets to that family. But again, Just for kicks, here is the Stallion missy is bred to, Ck Kid. Ok, I think that is all. Bye, Taylor... I will be back later to check in.

10:00PM Update

Hey guys, No real changes tonight. Missy's bag is still huge, lots of wax... so we still wait. Last year she didn't go into heavy labor (tip of sac showing) till 12:00pm, so who knows. Thanks for watching and I am so sorry for the recent cam problems... it has to give us trouble now??? Taylor

Where have I heard that before...

Hello everyone, hope you all are staying warm! It just keeping raining and freezing here... No fun. Well, Missy is in a very bad mood today, took me 15 minutes just to catch her. But, her bag didn't draw up today at all, which is a very good sign. We have lots of wax, her pelvic area has hollowed out a bit, so that is really good! So really everything points to go, so again, we have a good chance of having a baby tonight! I am just so excited, I can't wait to see what is in store for us this year. The anticipation is killing me, LOL. So if you all have anymore name ideas, write them down, and please continue praying that everything will go well during delivery, when ever that may be, ha ha ha. Anyways, I will talk to you all later! I am going to go scarf down some yummy home made chili! Yummy. Thanks for watching my grumpy pony, Taylor. P.S. Her due date is tomorrow, for all who don't know. Bye.

Ice Ice Baby...... 10pm update

Well, all things point to go tonight. It is all up to Missy.... lol. Anyways, the cam isn't switching back and forth, no idea why though. I will try to fix it tomorrow, so I am very sorry about that. I will talk to you guys later! Taylor

Hello All. We have lots of wax, which just keeps coming when we knock it off! So there is a high percent chance of her going tonight! She was really uncomfortable, and her bag was huge! On a weather note, it is below freezing here, ice every where! Plus, the barometric pressure has dropped, so maybe we will have a baby tonight, please Missy, please! Hey, but I did get a lot of sleep last night, and I am feeling better, so that is good. Please continue praying for a safe, healthy foal, and both mom and foal will be fine... and for an extra bonus, some color! LOL. Anyway, congratulations to Suzy at Nogotta Ranch, on your new baby boy! I will be checking at my usual 9:00, and update again! Thanks, Taylor

BBRRRR..... 9:30 UPDATE!

Ok, just checked Missy, and we have Wax! Both teats have wax, yeaaa! Her bag is really tight, and tender. I wrap her tail (badly I might add, she hates to have her tail touched.), with hot pink wrap, so we can clearly see if somethings popping out. lol. Again, I am not saying she will go, but she could. So watch at your own risk, lol. Thanks, Taylor

Boy, it is cold here! It was so humid here yesterday, and now it is freezing! We are getting lots of ice and rain, a day earlier than expected! So maybe this weather change will keep Missy going towards a baby.... Today we thought her belly look lower, and could see her pelvic bones better. (which isn't very easy with big Missy) I am hoping we will have some wax eventually, but she could definitely have a foal with out waxing. I really want to see her bag explode though, getting really tight and all. Her bag was a little tender today, I reached under there and her back leg jumped! She was like, "whoa chief, your invading my personal space"! LOL. Well, this is my second post of the day. I think I want Missy to go so bad, the more I post, the better I feel about the whole situation. Anyways, I will be checking her a few times this evening. (unlike my usual 9:30pm check). So thanks for hanging around, and hopefully we will have a healthy, beautiful, colored Filly soon, mind you I said Filly!
Thanks, Taylor

Well, well, well

I want to start of by saying, what the heck was going on with Missy last night! She was doing everything but waxing and actually having the baby! So I do apologize to all that I may have startled... But hey, if you really want to see such an amazing event, such as a birth, it is a 24 hour job, that doesn't pay well or provide health insurance, LOL. So I feel terrible if I or Missy keep anyone awake all night. Me and my dad came to the conclusion that her foal must have been moving in the birthing position during the night, or birth canal. Missy isn't super experienced, and happens to be Oscar worthy in the drama department. So, we are getting closer, I just have no idea when "closer" is. She is due on Monday, and is bred to CK Kid, own son of Touchdown Kid, for all that were wondering. So its about 2:24pm. So I will check her at feeding time, and update again. Thanks.

Missy watch TONIGHT

Hey guys, I put down some straw, just in case. She is showing a couple of signs that point to go, so be praying (if she goes) for a healthy, delivery for both mom and kid, and that the FILLY will be colored. But I must remind you all that I am not always right, so she could be in early labor... but that can mean she will go in 45 minutes, or in 2 days. So just watch and see what happens. Thanks Taylor

The Great Regression....

LOL. The Great Regression is over! So, hopefully Missy will begin to fill on out tonight, will we see wax? I really don't know, but now we are closer to that point. The weather here is yucky, it is windy and humid... But tonight it is going to be so cold! (we are in Texas, for all you that are thinking "where the heck are these crazy people") As all the people know, who live here, it can be 100 degrees one day, and below 30 the next! But enough about that. I was so excited when I checked Missy this afternoon, we are getting back on track. Everyone else is doing great, Fixation is already huge, her belly, not her bag! During my walk to the barn this afternoon I thought I heard a kitten meowing (which is strange, because we don't have any), so I swung around to only see Tank.... Our huge, fluffy, orange tabby cat. So picture this, a beautiful huge cat that looks a mini lion, but when he opens his mouth.... Only a tiny squeak comes out! Talk about a baby. Anyways, I will go ahead and post this, but add another section later this evening if, after I recheck Missy, she shows me anything important. Keep thinking of Names, I have heard so many awesome ones I need way more foals this year! Thanks, Taylor

Something's, or someone's, Gotta Give

2:43pm: Just got back from a long doctor's appointment... I having get lots of IVs lately. But enough about me. Although all this wind has come in from the north, I decided to ride Mystic (our Belgian draft recip mare). She is still green, but a joy to just sit on! We were working or steering today, it went pretty good. Though, mostly, she is concentrating on eating something. LOL. Let me tell you, she is spook proof. My dad said Missy had her normal huge bag, but really nothing indicating that she will foal tonight. But never fear, I will give her the ole' once over this afternoon, or evening, whatever you prefer. Okay... I have only had 1 person give me a name idea, so you guys better start thinking, I really enjoy hearing your input! I explained in yesterdays blog (about the name theme this year), so go read it.... now... LOL.

6:38pm: Okay, Missy still doesn't show signs of going tonight! Her bag still looks like yesterdays regressing stage! But, we are getting closer to her actual due date, the 15th, so... Eventually, we should be getting some results. On a better note, I have some pictures of Mystic and baby Scout... Who isn't such a baby at almost 15 hands. For all you who don't know, Scout was Fixation's baby last year. So enjoy!

Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars

Well, Missy has seemed to regressed, I know not what you wanted to hear right? I keeped wondering when she was going to do it, now I know! But other wise, she is looking great. The weather is changing dramatically on Friday, plus the barometric pressure is dropping... So I will bet on her going Friday, or that weekend. But hey, don't bet on me, keep watching her, I don't want to be the blame for you guys missing her birth! LOL. Just to tell you guys, you can go to wefoal, click on live cams, and while you watch mares, you can live chat with some other horse watchers. I usually just enter "Taylor"(of course, enter your name, lol), but not my email address, and just log in. It is a lot of fun. Our vet, Dr. Spencer, came today. He was checking our open mares, everybody looked great! No infections, lets keep it that way. He said we were probably a few days off with Missy, so maybe he is right! Of course, he is a professional. LOL. I am hoping my cold will be better in a few days, I think I was running a fever last night, yuck. I don't want to be giving our new arrival anything. Okay guys, be thinking of names for our baby to be, remember famous horse names is the theme (I like themes, it is cute.). For example: Seabiscut, Pegasus, Scamper, etc. So blog in your ideas, I LOVE to hear them, even if there not in our theme or whatever. Ok, I will be checking Missy around 9 to 9:30, so I can see what's happening, and so I can wave to Torie and baby Erik. LOL. I will talk to you all later, Taylor

Missy, a "lady in waiting"....

Missy looked great this morning, bag was nice and full. She hasn't waxed yet, but, if this makes any sense, her teats look like the are open. You catch my drift? So, I am hoping to see some wax soon. Missy seems uncomfortable tonight, not a whole lot interested in munching on her hay. But, that could be because we are getting a load of alfalfa hay in as we speak, and the trailer got stuck on our drive way.... So that not good, but, it is also not my problem. Dad can deal with that mess himself, I would much rather do the chores myself. Anyways, I will check her about 9 to 10 tonight, and post again if I see something interesting. But while we play the waiting game, lets play the naming game. I wanted to go with a theme , for all 4 foals, this year, so our family thought of famous horses instead of famous people. So I have a huge list of thoroughbred "famous" names, but anything is fine, and you can add mystical horses as well, like Pegasus for example. So just blog what ever ya what! Ok, I am starving, so tired, and have a terrible cold, so I am going to get meds, food, and a very quick nap. lol. Thanks, Taylor

If you wanted to be a good pony, Missy....

Well, I was just thinking, if Missy wanted to be a good pony (I call all horses ponies, even Missy, standing 16.1!) she would hurry up and have that baby. Like she will listen to me?! She didn't seem much different today, she didn't seem eager to be around the herd this evening, which is very rare, she is the top dog. But what I mean by different, is her bag, no wax and I would like to she here teats fill just a bit more. Last year she wax for like three days, and her teats didn't fill till the baby actually came out! Talk about procrastinating! There is not much I can do, just wait and watch.... Fun right? Anyways, all the other horses are great, they don't seem as excited about Missy pregnancy as I am though... hmm, wonder why? lol. ****Ok, I am going to say this again (in fun big read letters too!), if you are having trouble getting the cam to start up, please read the other big red letters on the January 5th post. Sorry.***

Update: Missy

Good evening. (If you are having problems loading the live foal cam, please read the post below. Sorry and Thanks) Okay it is 11:00 pm, just got done checking Missy. Her bag has blown up in the past few hours! I am not saying she is going tonight, but I am not saying won't! So, if she doesn't go tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if she waxes tomorrow. So stay around and watch her, call is she goes into labor! Thanks, Taylor.

(7:00)pm Missy seemed a bit irritable and restless today (But who wouldn't be with giant belly like that?), and her bag was huge this morning. But at the present time (7:02 pm), I don't think she will be foaling tonight. I am waiting for her to wax, and until then I really can't be sure how extremely close we are. Missy was a maiden mare last year, so I don't have a lot to go by. Well, In the Meantime I found some fun "horsey" quizzes, quiz #1, and quiz #2. Anyways, I will check Missy around 9:00 to 9:30 this evening. Thanks,
Taylor

Missy

Greetings! ----News Flash---To all you Missy watchers: Our cam link isn't working on the Harpole site, so click here wefoal. Then click on live cams, and go to Harpole Farms Cam (if you just click on Harpole Farms, you will go directly to our site). I will try to fix the link as soon as possible! Thanks so much!
As I was saying, lol, Missy is doing great, she is progressing closer towards her due date. (although, what other direction could she be going in?!) Her bag isn't as full as it can be, but is growing everyday. She isn't waxing, so I don't think we are extremely close. But she could easily go sooner than her due date, which is Jan. 15th. Last year her bag wasn't huge, but after delivery she exploded! She also was a maiden mare last year, so only time will tell. On a different note, if you go to wefoal.com, you can chat with other foal watchers, and look at tons of other mares that are delivering soon. It is a very fun deal! Ok, I will keep a day to day update on the mom to be, so check in frequently!

And the count down begins....

Hello, Well Missy is progressing very quickly. Her bag is starting to fill on out! We were a little worried, because a few days ago she really wasn't doing much. But anyways, now that I am excited she will most likely go a week after her due date. I don't think she is super close, but she could easily go before the 15th. So, to all of you watchers, I wouldn't lose any sleep in the next few days... unless I post something a bit more assuring. Well, today the normally spunky Scout was just laying on the ground moaning.... she was colicing, she is a human or I guess horse garbage disposal! But after some meds and a nice long walk, she was back to her old self! Ok, what will it be a filly or a colt? To be perfectly honest, I am usually wrong. Last year I thought Missy would surely have a colt, and she had a filly. I want another filly, so maybe I should guess colt? ~Taylor

Happy New Year

Hello everyone! Please let me apologize for not updating at all this summer! I am so very sorry, and will do much better this year. But anyways, let me give you the rundown.... We have 4 mares bred this year, Scottie, Ruth, Missy, and Fixation. Scottie and Ruth are bred to an amazing N/N double registered Stud, Hes Tee Totally Cool. Missy was re-bred to Ck Kid, and Fixation was bred back to I Got Charisma, or Hank as he is affectionately known. Missy is due on Jan. 15, while the other girls are due (All in the same week), in March. Crazy Timing! This year we bought two recipient mares, Mystic and Faith. They are the sweetest creatures I have ever seen.... I try not to play favorites, but I LOVE Mystic. Well, Lucy was sold early last year, and is being shown, and a broodmare prospect. Heidi is for sale, and is at the trainers. After a while of thinking, we all decided to keep Scout. She is so amazing, she has the stretch and "float" in her trot, and talk about an amazing lope!!! I am training her, on ground work, and she really seems to enjoy playing and learning. We are in the process of updating the website, and making some changes to a few things.... I will try to get things done, before Missy foals. Unfortunately, both Lady and Sis had uterus infections, that we caught to late in the breeding season, but we are ready this year! Well, have an awesome day, I will get back to you all later.
