Something's, or someone's, Gotta Give
2:43pm: Just got back from a long doctor's appointment... I having get lots of IVs lately. But enough about me. Although all this wind has come in from the north, I decided to ride Mystic (our Belgian draft recip mare). She is still green, but a joy to just sit on! We were working or steering today, it went pretty good. Though, mostly, she is concentrating on eating something. LOL. Let me tell you, she is spook proof. My dad said Missy had her normal huge bag, but really nothing indicating that she will foal tonight. But never fear, I will give her the ole' once over this afternoon, or evening, whatever you prefer. Okay... I have only had 1 person give me a name idea, so you guys better start thinking, I really enjoy hearing your input! I explained in yesterdays blog (about the name theme this year), so go read it.... now... LOL.
6:38pm: Okay, Missy still doesn't show signs of going tonight! Her bag still looks like yesterdays regressing stage! But, we are getting closer to her actual due date, the 15th, so... Eventually, we should be getting some results. On a better note, I have some pictures of Mystic and baby Scout... Who isn't such a baby at almost 15 hands. For all you who don't know, Scout was Fixation's baby last year. So enjoy!

Hey Taylor....just wanted to let you know I check in several times a day and was with you all last year also...Great site and BEAUTIFUL horses you all have...I also appreciate your wonderful updates on your horses...Great Job!! Thank you all for allowing us to join you in your barn and for sharing your horses with us.
Now as far as names....the first one that popped into my head is my all time favorite...Flicka..then of course Trigger...lol...thats all I have come up with for the time being.

For names, how about Shadowless (if it isn't a pinto... the named belonged to the horse belonging to Cao Cao, the last Chancellor of the Eastern Han Dynasty in China),
Lamri (horse belonging to King Arthur in Arthurian legend),
Citation (famous flat racing stallion),
Dan Patch (famous harness racing male),
Ruffian (famous flat racing filly, look her up if you haven't heard of her),
Swaps (famous flat racing male).
Those are just some of the names that might fit what you're looking for. You have a lovely site, and your updates are very informative! Missy is so beautiful.
