Farm Update
All is well around the farm this AM. The kids finally came to an agreement on a name for Lady's baby. With 4 girls that can become very challenging. I really liked Helga but they all compromised with Heidi. So for the record the official barn names for Missy's filly is Lucy and Lady's baby is Heidi. Both of these fillies are exceptional. Not sure of anything I would change on either one of them at this point except I would have loved for Lucy to have a white spot. Ha! I will continue to take pictures of them and put them on the foal pages for everyone to see how they are growing.
Fixation is due February 2nd. She is progressing well. Fixation had an accident this summer and cracked her pelvic bone. When we purchased her she had a dropped pelvic from a previous injury. Just so happened that the injury was to the same side. After the injury she was stalled for over 3 months and we expected her to lose the baby. She held her pregnancy but has been very slow to completely recover. She gets around very slowly and I don't antipate we will breed her again. So we will be on pins and needles through this delivery. It has been a long road for Fixation and she has been the easiest patient. She is one tough mare and we intend to make life a pleasure for her after she gets this foal raised. She is a TB mare and is bred to Eric and Deb Jarvis's Stud I Got Charisma. We look forward to the resulting foal.

Yay! Another mare to watch! Warm thoughts going out to Fixation for a safe and sound delivery.
Hi everyone, This is Taylor. I thought I would tell everyone that fixation has lost a lot of muscle and fat on her back... So when she get on the camera don't be shocked if you see her back bone showing. We are pretty sure she has stop using the muscles back there because of all the extra weight from her pregnancy, hopefully she will gain some, if any, of it back after the baby is born. Plus, being a Thoroughbred, she doesn't have the best built body quite like Missy and Lady! :)
