Welcome to HARPOLE FARMS we specialize in "Wiescamp" Quarter Horses. Our Stallion, ST. SHILOH, is a full brother to Skippers Zane the high-selling AQHA stallion in the late Hank Wiescamp's Dispersal Sale. ST. SHILOH was bred and raised under the watchful eye of the legendary breeder Hank Wiescamp. ST. SHILOH represents over 60 years of selective breeding. The late Hank Wiescamp of Alamosa, Colorado, was the undisputed king of linebreeding. He used AQHA stallion Skipper W as the cornerstone of his program to develop a "family" of Paints, Quarter Horses and Appaloosas that had such uniform coloring and conformation that they have become popularly known as "Wiescamp horses."

The legendary Wiescamp used to say about breeding horses, "There is no secret, and there is no magic formula. It's knowing your horses, studying them every day and being honest with yourself when it comes time to make your breeding decisions. Horse breeding is not a science. It can't be taught in school. It comes from deep inside you, and that's the way it should be."

We intend to continue Hank's lifetime passion by line breeding the Wiescamp branded stock on these pages. In addition to this family of horses we plan to blend selective outcrossing from today's modern gene pool.
